What does abundance mean to you? How much money you make? How many happy birthday wishes you receive? How many clients you have?
Or is abundance a bit more qualitative? Do you feel abundant when you’re surrounded by love? Enveloped in the world’s beauty? Suffused with joy? Abundantly full of enthusiasm?
When it comes to reaching out and asking for more (more love, more money, more support, more health). What feels scariest to you?
Whether it’s asking for a few new clients, a raise at work, a more fulfilling life – it’s an inside job. The way to turn these beliefs around is through your body.
Which statement resonates with you the most?
(A) I’m worried they will say “no”…and then hearing “no” might trigger a wave of uncomfortable emotions. I might feel rejected, anxious, etc.
(B) I’m worried they will think I’m gross, pushy, annoying, obnoxious, bothersome, etc.
(C) I’m worried I will spend lots of time and energy reaching out to various people and then *nothing* positive will happen. It will be a huge waste of time, and I’ll be right where I started. Zero progress.
(D) I’m worried they will say “yes”! They might actually hire and want me. They might actually pay me. And then what if I don’t do a good job…and they’re disappointed? What if they hate my work? What if they demand a refund? What if they post a 1-star review about me?
(E) I’m worried about showing up and fully being seen. It feels waaay to vulnerable and dangerous.
(F) I’m not worried! I feel really confident about promoting my work, sharing info about my projects, and asking people to hire me / help me / choose me / work with me / etc. It’s exciting!
(G) Or something totally different?
Throughout the next few weeks, I’ll be addressing these worries, concerns and beliefs…and some practices to dissolve and/or enhance them from the inside out.
Catch me on Facebook live every Wednesday morning at 9am CT.
I’ll be sharing lots of free content in these blog posts, too.
