My 90 year old mother moved in. My in-person/hands-on practice went on hold. My travel plans evaporated.
It was a big pivot, internally and externally. Locally and globally. I saw no options. I had to move forward with a bold new belief system.
Fast forward 8 months…
Today (as most every day), I’m sitting happily at my computer. Sharing embodiment practices. Transforming lives with Embodied Living.
My students and clients are each in their own home. Each in a different city. Many different countries. The interconnections and synchronicities are magical.
Earlier today — we are enjoying the afterglow of a delicious embodied meditation — infinite figure 8 loops that unit us all through flowing movement.
A participant rushes to get her journal. And displays a fabulous multi-directional figure 8 drawing that she drew yesterday! In all the colors of the rainbow, looping and figure 8-ing in all directions. We laugh with delight. Exactly the same image that was inspiring the movement journey we has just been on.
No time. No space. No separation.
It’s amazing how easy it is to inter-connect online. I never would have believed it a year ago.
Clients and colleagues, friends and family come and go virtually all day long. I’ve never been so connected with the world. Me in my home and you in yours. Come on over. Drop in anytime.
With gentle loving connections,
–Melissa
P.S. And before too long we’ll be together in person. A movement meditation retreat on the seaside. A delicious shared meal. A dance. A hike. Big hugs. Embodied Living!
P.P.S. In the meantime… please join me at the Embodied Soul Gatherings. My weekly way of connecting with you, body and soul.
