Dazed and disoriented, I woke up in a hospital with an IV drip in my veins. I had passed out on stage in the final days of a long and grueling tour. I was feeling anxious, overwhelmed, overworked, and deeply underappreciated. Weeks later, still in recovery, I experienced a synchronistic miracle. Mistakenly thinking I was visiting a regular doctor, I met my first body-based master. She initiated a healing journey that gave me access to my body’s innate wisdom. 35 years later, the effects of those teachings continue to inform and enrich my teaching, coaching, and whole creative life.
